Strong defense signal: Ukraine resumed mortar production

At the relocated sites, the production of mortars of 60 mm, 82 mm and 120 mm calibers for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is underway.

Production of mortars of various calibers has been resumed in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the year, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have already received more than 600 units of these weapons, the Ukrainian Armored Vehicles company reported on Thursday, August 31.

It is indicated that since the beginning of the war, part of the production facilities in eastern Ukraine was captured by the occupiers.

“We have found a way to resume production cycles, conduct qualification tests and launch production of mortars of 60 mm, 82 mm and 120 mm calibers at relocated sites,” the statement says.

The company assured that today they have not only restored, but also significantly increased the production volumes of weapons needed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine compared to the pre-war period.
