A distillery was sold in the Kiev region for three pensions: auction details

Recently, in the Kyiv region, a plant was auctioned off for almost 6.6 thousand hryvnia ($176). That is, several minimum pensions.

Political expert Andrei Smoliy spoke about this.

According to him, on September 7, an auction was held for the sale of the property complex of the State Enterprise "Trilessky Distillery".

“105 hectares of land and several thousand square meters. A country of great opportunities,” he wrote.

The website of the State Property Fund notes that the starting price was UAH 655.3 thousand. There was only one participant in the auction.

The description of the lot indicates that this is a single property complex of the state enterprise “Trilessky Distillery”. Among the functionality:

  • production of other non-distilled beverages from fermentable products (main);
  • mixed agriculture;
  • production of flour and cereal industry products;
  • wholesale trade of other intermediate products;
  • supply of other prepared foods.

The State Property Fund reported that since 2010 the plant has not carried out production activities and the equipment has not been used. In recent years, the enterprise has been causing steady losses.

According to Prozorro. Sales, this was the second attempt to sell the company. At the first auction the starting price was UAH 1.3 million.

It is noteworthy that the plant was accessible to even the poorest pensioner, because today the minimum pension in Ukraine is 2,093 hryvnia.
