Detectives still receive huge salaries.
While Ukrainian pensioners continue to collect pennies, and the army faces a lack of funding, some of our wonderful deputies and celebrities of Ukrainian society are waving their brand new purchases and curly salaries.
It recently became known that senior detective of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau Andrei Andreev actually surprised all Ukrainians with his salary, which allegedly equals the sum of everything that you and we earn together.
Andrei Andreev attracted attention with his income, which, according to his declaration, amounted to 650 thousand UAH per month during the period of hostilities.
But this is not enough! It turns out that at the beginning of 2023 he bought himself an apartment with an area of 90 sq.m. in Kyiv for an astronomical 3,216,000 hryvnia. The data was published in changes to the property registry.
Interestingly, this is not the first time it has become known that NABU detectives receive half a million salaries. This causes indignation among Ukrainians, knowing that even the President of Ukraine receives a salary less than such a “modest” amount.
