NABU has put on the wanted list businessmen involved in a smuggling scheme at Chernivtsi customs

NABU is looking for two businessmen who are suspected of participating in a smuggling scheme at customs.

This became known from the materials of criminal proceedings No. 52017000000000802.

We are talking about Alexander Yerimichuk, the founder of the VIP com enterprise. He is the brother of ex-prosecutor of the Kitsmansky district Nikolai Yerimichuk. President Zelensky, by order, imposed sanctions against him and deprived him of citizenship. His card is not yet in the Ministry of Internal Affairs database.

He is wanted on suspicion of creating a criminal organization at customs. Together with him, Andrey Remarchuk, the founder of the Zhesar enterprise, was put on the wanted list (Part 3 of Article 212, Part 1 of Article 255 of the Criminal Code).

On April 25, Andrey Remarchuk was summoned for questioning at NABU.

According to the investigation, businessmen, together with customs officers, from 2016 to 2019 developed a “gray import” scheme, which consisted of importing goods into the customs territory of Ukraine by replacing the codes of the Ukrainian classification of goods of foreign economic activity, namely: disguising the actually imported expensive goods, their quantity and value, from the Republic of Turkey and Romania with cheap goods of the “cover” group (fabric, particle boards, glass roving), or the movement of goods outside of proper customs control along the “green” corridor of the simplified customs control zone, as vehicles without cargo, as a result of which there were caused serious consequences to state interests, in the form of non-receipt of funds to the state budget of Ukraine.

Earlier, in this case, the High Anti-Corruption Court took into custody the former head of the Chernivtsi customs of the State Fiscal Service, Mykola Salagor.

Together with Salagor, the court arrested a member of the criminal organization Igor Savok with an alternative of 6 million UAH.

According to the investigation, it was he who, on the instructions of Salagor, organized the beating of journalists. Salagor and Savka were arrested until June 14.
