The NBU bought only $0.87 million, so the net sale of foreign currency from December 25 to 29 amounted to $891.8 million.
Compared to the previous week, the volume of currency sales decreased by 8.76%.
In addition, for the first time, the National Bank set the official exchange rate of the hryvnia against the US dollar above 38 UAH/$.
