Naftogaz explained how to increase the temperature in apartments by 20%

Naftogaz provided recommendations to consumers that will help increase the temperature in apartments by 20%. By following simple tips, you can achieve an increase in heat by 1-2 degrees.

It is indicated that heat loss in the house can be reduced and its energy efficiency can be increased by gluing a heat-reflecting screen behind the radiator. Analysts have calculated that in this way it will be possible to increase the heat transfer of heating radiators by 20%.

It is noted that the batteries give off heat not only to the room, but also to the external wall. And with the help of a foil heat-reflecting screen you can prevent this. Moreover, gluing will not take much time - fastening to the wall is easy to do yourself.

Representatives of Naftogaz noted that furniture, curtains and other objects that block radiators prevent the flow of heat into the room. Likewise, dirt and dust that collect on the surface of the batteries interfere.

“Don’t forget to take care of the condition of your batteries and prepare for winter correctly,” the blue fuel supplier urged.

You also need to save electricity

It has become noticeably colder in Ukraine recently. Adverse weather conditions lead to increased energy consumption. Ukrenergo urged household consumers to use electricity carefully and not to turn on energy-intensive household appliances from 17.00 to 19.00 - this is the peak period of consumption.

Citizens most often use electricity in the morning - before work, and in the evening - after it. The most “gluttonous” devices are computers and laptops, refrigerators, washing machines, TVs and boilers. It is advisable to limit the inclusion of electric kettles and microwave ovens.

Experts recommend that Ukrainians be prepared for long power outages and carry flashlights and charged power banks.
