Deputy head of department “I” of the SBU, former head of the SBU in the Kharkov region, Andrey Nosach, is suspected of illegal enrichment due to the purchase of an elite apartment in the capital and two parking spaces.
NAPC monitoring discovered that in the period after the start of full-scale Russian aggression, Andrei Nosach acquired luxury real estate in Kyiv - an apartment in the Jack House residential complex and, in addition, two parking spaces. The minimum price for apartments in this residential complex starts from 400 thousand dollars. Such expenses do not correspond in any way to the legitimate income of the SBU officer, and information about the purchase is not included in his declaration.
This apartment and parking spaces are registered in the name of Andrei Nosach’s wife and mother-in-law.
Now the materials of illegal enrichment are being examined by prosecutors of the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office.
Andrey Nosach served for a long time under the leadership of the head of the Main Directorate for Counterintelligence Protection of Critical Infrastructure Facilities and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (Directorate “I”) Artem Shilo. Shilo is suspected of organizing a scheme to steal almost 100 million UAH from procurement in Ukrzaliznytsia. In April 2024, a bail amount of as much as 30 million UAH was made for him. Before working as head of the central office of the SBU, Artem Shilo was an adviser to the Office of the President.
As the media reported, Shilo’s actions are coordinated by one of the deputy heads of the President’s Office. And in this case, it is Artem Shilo who is putting pressure on SAP and NAPC in order to prevent the investigation of Nosach’s illegal enrichment from proceeding.
