In August 2023, he turned to a top official of the Ministry of Reconstruction with a request to provide his company with contracts for the restoration of infrastructure facilities worth 1 billion hryvnia. For this he promised a “reward” in the amount of 3-5% of the cost of each contract. To coordinate further agreements, the people's deputy also involved the director of the company.
After receiving 50 million UAH for a contract to restore a destroyed bridge in one of the regions of Ukraine, the people's representative, through a proxy, provided the whistleblower, a top official of the State Reconstruction Agency, with a promised interest in the amount of 150 thousand dollars. USA. The transfer of illegal benefits took place in the parking lot of one of the capital's supermarkets, and the money was in a Chinese box.
Investigative actions against people's representatives became possible thanks to the personal assistance of the Prosecutor General.
