The application for those liable for military service “Reserve+” was developed with donor funds. The developers were paid 3.4 million UAH (86 thousand dollars) for their work, said Deputy Head of the Ministry of Defense Ekaterina Chernogorenko.
“We can’t say that we saved on anything here. The cost of one hour of developer work can vary greatly. The application will need to be developed, so it is possible that as the functionality increases, the cost of the application will increase,” said Ekaterina Chernorenko.
The Deputy Minister of Defense said that several teams worked on the Reserve+ application, including teams from the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“This is a large amount of work on synchronization with registries and the readiness of “Obereg” to withstand the load. The internal teams of the Ministry of Defense and other ministries, such as the Ministry of Internal Affairs, have done a lot. Now the response from the “Amulets” registry in the application takes a few seconds. It was a huge challenge for us to achieve such a result,” the official added.
