The owner of a group of companies, suspected of collusion with the State Service for Special Communications. Correspondence in which he wastes stolen money has been made public.
“They brought me 6.4 here - that’s 22 kilos. Maybe give the “wet” one in hryvnia so that the handles don’t come off... Heavy p****,” says the correspondence, which was published in his Telegram by the head of the public organization “Anti-Corruption Center” Vitaly Shabunin.
“In addition to the fact that two servants of the people want to bail out Shchigol, one of them (Fedienko) says that not everything is so simple. From the added correspondence about the weight of the cache, the ambiguity is clearly visible,” writes Shabunin.
Let us remind you that the ex-chairmen of the State Service for Special Communications had $1.5 million in their crypto wallet. Shabunin also adds to the publication a quote from Servant of the People deputy Alexander Fedienko in defense of Shchigol:
“As I listened, I looked for myself every time, whether I would see from the prosecution something that would hurt me from the point of view that I would withdraw this statement and say that I do not want to take Yuri Fedorovich Shchigol on bail. But I didn’t hear this, dear court.”
According to investigators, in 2020, the owner of a group of companies, in collusion with the management of the State Service for Special Communications, developed a scheme to seize budget funds allocated for the purchase of equipment and software.
