He was compensated 644,160 hryvnia for deputy expenses and 230,100 hryvnia for renting an apartment in Kyiv.
Scandalous situations with Ukrainian people's deputies, who receive compensation for rent during the war, do not subside. This time, the spotlight was on Alexander Tkachenko, a deputy from Odessa from the Servant of the People party, who in 2023 received compensation in the amount of 230,100 hryvnia.
Alexander Tkachenko, a member of the Verkhovna Rada and an active member of the Anti-Corruption Policy Committee, was one of those who used the opportunity to receive compensation for rent in Kyiv.
According to information from the declaration, Tkachenko rented an apartment in the capital and received the following payments:
This compensation is provided for deputies who do not have their own housing in Kyiv and are registered in settlements more than 30 kilometers from the capital.
Tkachenko has owned a plot of land in the village of Primorskoye since 2011. But in Kyiv, where he spends most of his time with his wife, he only has a rented apartment with an area of 65 m². He doesn’t have his own home – he just rents.
Since 2017, Tkachenko has had a trailer for containers, but with cars everything is more complicated. He and his wife drive two 2018 Toyota Corollas. An interesting point: one of the cars is registered to Vladimir Sayenko, probably the brother of Anna’s wife, and the second to Tkachenko’s brother, Andrey.
In 2023, the deputy earned 643,452 hryvnia from his main job. In addition, he was compensated 644,160 hryvnia for deputy expenses and 230,100 hryvnia for renting an apartment in Kyiv. So the people’s deputy’s year of work cost the budget over 1.6 million hryvnia. And this does not count his trips around Ukraine for 90 thousand hryvnia.
Tkachenko’s wife earned more than 484 thousand hryvnia in a year working in the National Police of Kyiv.
Tkachenko also holds 4,811,807 hryvnia in cash, and 647 hryvnia in bank accounts. But the wife has $17,300 in cash and 16,447 hryvnia in her accounts.
