Kolomoisky's money laundering

Tomorrow there will be a court hearing in the case of NZF against PrivatBank

The Northern Economic Court of Appeal tomorrow, July 2 at 16:30, is due to resume consideration of the high-profile case of the lawsuit of the Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant (NZF) against PrivatBank (case No. 910/12559/20). This is stated in the bank's message.

According to bank representatives, previous meetings did not take place due to legal maneuvers on the part of representatives of the NLF, who want to drag out the process and delay the decision.

In particular, on June 4, the meeting did not take place due to NFP filing an application to the Supreme Court with a request to correct the error - to replace the word “interest” with “interest” in the decision of the Economic Court of Cassation, adopted a year ago (May 17, 2023). The Supreme Court requested the case materials from the Northern Economic Court of Appeal for consideration. As a result, the scheduled trial was postponed.

“The Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant is trying in Ukrainian courts to prove the allegedly targeted use of multimillion-dollar loans, which more than 10 years ago were transferred through schemes to the accounts of I. Kolomoisky and G. Bogolyubov in Cyprus, and then in the USA. Then opponents use these decisions to defend themselves in the United States and in other jurisdictions where cases of money laundering are being considered... PrivatBank's lawyers consider NZF's claim to be artificial, since the bank did not violate the rights of the plant by filing a lawsuit in the United States, which NZF's lawyers have repeatedly stated in Ukrainian courts “, explained the bank.
