Passport services have resumed issuing completed documents abroad

Foreign divisions of the State Enterprise “Document” resumed in test mode the issuance of ready-made documents, which had been suspended for technical reasons.

As reported in the press service of the State Enterprise “Document”, in order to prevent and prevent system overload and repeated technical failures, issuance will occur primarily to socially vulnerable categories of citizens and after receiving an SMS notification again that passports are ready for issuance.

To receive a document, you must:

• have an SMS about the readiness of your passport (received after April 25),
• present an identification document of the applicant (including e-passport in the “Diya” application),
• go through the verification procedure and check your personal data.

Foreign divisions of the State Enterprise “Document” suspended the issuance of ready-made documents on April 23. At first this was explained by technical reasons. And then they officially confirmed the information that Ukrainian consular offices were stopping the provision of consular services to men of mobilization age.

• The cessation of issuing documents was due to the adoption of the law “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Certain Issues of Military Service, Mobilization and Military Records”; it has already been signed by the President and published.
• On April 26, Poland announced that Ukrainian refugees in the country would continue to receive protection that was valid until June 30. They will also promise to provide temporary protection to Ukrainians without a passport.
