In Zaporozhye, an OVA employee was exposed who, through an enemy chatbot, informed the occupiers about the movement of Ukrainian military and equipment.
This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
Under the procedural leadership of the Zaporozhye Regional Prosecutor's Office, a resident of Zaporozhye was notified of suspicion of disseminating information about the deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Part 3 of Article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, in September 2023, a former employee of one of the local enterprises, providing maintenance of military equipment of the Defense Forces, and now an employee of the Zaporizhzhya OVA, secretly filmed the movement of military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on his phone.
The data collected by himself was transmitted on his own initiative through a chat bot created by the occupiers to collect information on the movement of units of Ukrainian defenders in the front-line regions.
Law enforcement officers detained the man in accordance with Art. 208.
During the searches, the suspect's mobile phone was confiscated red-handed in favor of the aggressor country.
Currently, he has been chosen as a preventive measure in the form of detention.
