Pin-UP decided to sue the state over SBU materials about the bookmaker’s ties with the Russian Federation

The bookmaker company Pin-UP filed 2 lawsuits against the State Commission for Regulating Lotteries and Gambling in Ukraine with a demand to recognize the illegal activities of the Commission and oblige the latter to take actions, as well as statements to secure 2 lawsuits.

This is evidenced by the determinations of the Kiev District Administrative Court in the Unified State Register of Judicial Decisions, for example No. 112612060 , No. 112995058 , No. 112875586 and No. 112639014 .

The claims were filed by two legal entities of the group operating under the Pin-UP brand. 2 lawsuits were filed by the legal entity Victoria-Soft, which had already been deprived of connections with the Russian Federation, and two more by Ukr Game Technology, in respect of which the decision to revoke the license has not yet been made.

In these lawsuits, the companies demanded an injunction against further decisions of CRAIL to cancel Pin-UP licenses, despite the letter from the SBU that the commission had received.

All Pin-UP claims and applications for interim measures were rejected.

Consequently, KRAIL has legal grounds to deprive the bookmaker of its license in connection with the SBU materials about the company’s connections with Russia.

Such a letter with the original number No. 5/7/14-18316dsk is dated November 2022. According to KRAIL, it talks about Pin-UP’s connections with residents of the aggressor country.

Let us remind you that on August 8, KRAIL, based on a letter from the SBU about Pin-UP’s connections with Russia, canceled the license of only one legal entity - Victoria-Soft LLC. For unknown reasons, no decision was made regarding another legal entity, Ukr Game Technology LLC.
