Regarding the next meeting of Ramstein, a question arises once again.
Why, with the money allocated as military aid to Ukraine, have our powers that be not yet agreed to create enterprises abroad for the needs of our defense that would be controlled by Ukraine?
It is clear that the war, unfortunately, will last for a long time, under constant shelling, almost all of our territory and any new military production in Ukraine is the primary goal for the Russians, and therefore an extreme danger for all involved.
But, if our partners give us “real” money, why not establish the production of the same ammunition and more - in territories that are inaccessible to the Russian Federation?
Instead of investing this money in foreign manufacturers.
At the same time, we would solve a whole bunch of issues: establishing production - under our control, we note, the weapons we need so much for ammunition, gaining access to advanced Western technologies, revenues to our budget from profits from the activities of enterprises (after all, excuse me, the production of ammunition during war in the very center of Europe cannot be unprofitable), employment of our citizens abroad with the solution of a number of social issues and a number of other extremely important problems.
And finally, in relation to those working at these enterprises, “reservation” could be quite officially established.
Moreover, none of our respected neighbors will violate the norms of international law regarding refugees and will not hand over to us Ukrainian citizens on their territory who can be mobilized.
Of course, the proposal requires a comprehensive analysis to eliminate not only purely legal, but also related issues, including those regarding corruption risks.
However, this does not solve the question.
So - WHY or, better yet, WHEN?
