Russian missiles were delivered to Gaza under the guise of humanitarian aid

Dozens of rockets, other weapons and ammunition were discovered by IDF forces in the Gaza Strip. Some of them were hidden under boxes of equipment bearing the logos of UNRWA, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East. The weapons and ammunition were hidden in several houses in northern Gaza.

The IDF press service reported on Saturday, December 2, that among the weapons found were about 30 Russian-made Grad missiles, capable of covering a distance of up to 10 km, and dozens of other missiles, notes the publication www.vesty.co.il.

According to the army press service, “the forces of battalion No. 414 combed the area in the north of Gaza and during the raid discovered warehouses with stocks of weapons and military equipment. "Grenades, explosives, parts from automatic rifles, knives and equipment for collecting intelligence information were found."

In an IDF video, the commander of the unit whose soldiers found the rockets says: “We searched several high-rise buildings. Boxes with UNRWA emblems were found in several apartments, which did not initially arouse suspicion. When we pulled out these boxes, we discovered a cache of grad missiles and explosives - all ready for a rocket attack on Israel - in the Ashkelon area. All this dangerous equipment was located right in residential buildings.”

According to the army press service, IDF efforts have been concentrated in the last 24 hours in the area of Khan Younes, the city in which terrorist leaders Mohammed Def and Ihye Sinwar were born.
After the resumption of hostilities, about 400 terror targets were attacked, more than 50 of them in the territory of Khan Younes. According to Al Jazeera TV, the IDF is also attacking agricultural areas in preparation for the resumption of the ground phase of the operation.
