The military potential of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will increase, and aggressor Russia will maneuver its Black Sea Fleet somewhere in Novorossiysk Bay, said Mikhail Podolyak.
Russia no longer has advantages in the Black Sea, and the growth of Ukraine's military potential will lead to the fact that the enemy Black Sea Fleet will withdraw to the bays of Novorossiysk. Ukraine already has tools that shock the occupiers and nullify their transit capabilities. This was stated by Advisor to the Head of the Presidential Office Mikhail Podolyak.
In an interview with Channel 24, he said that the “era of dominance” of Russians in the Black Sea is over. Over time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will receive more drones, as a result of which the Black Sea Fleet will be driven back to Novorossiysk.
“If we increased, and it will increase, the number of unmanned equipment and maritime drones, then Russia would be able to actively operate its Black Sea Fleet in the waters exclusively of the Novorossiysk garrison, somewhere in Novorossiysk Bay,” Podolyak noted.
Ukraine is capable of nullifying the transit capabilities of the Russian Federation
According to him, Ukraine has clearly demonstrated to Russia that it will not have any advantage in the Black Sea after breaking the grain agreement. The military capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine nullify the Russian transit potential.
“And we have appropriate tools that will shock not only Russia, because when the number increases, they essentially nullify transit opportunities for Russia,” the official added.
He also clarified that Russia, unfortunately, effectively uses long-range missiles against Ukraine.
“These are missiles with a range of 1000 - 3000 kilometers, the same “Calibers”. Russia today, losing the war in the Black Sea, is striking from afar at Ukraine’s grain and port infrastructure,” Mikhail Podolyak emphasized.
The Ukrainian army attacked Russian troops in Sevastopol
On September 13, the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched strikes against the Russian occupiers in captured Sevastopol. The large landing ship Minsk and the submarine Rostov-on-Don were hit. British SkyNews journalists believe that Ukrainian troops hit a Russian submarine for the first time during the war, and with Storm Shadow missiles.
Advisor to the head of the Presidential Office, Mikhail Podolyak, believes that the demilitarization of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol is a goal for Kyiv. According to him, the Ukrainian army needs to secure the Black Sea waters for the passage of merchant ships.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed the Minsk landing ship and a Russian submarine in Sevastopol, British intelligence said. According to experts, the ship suffered functional damage, and the submarine was catastrophically damaged.
