Tonight, a soldier of the National Guard of Ukraine, while intoxicated, blew up a live grenade in one of the courtyards of Kyiv.
Sources in law enforcement agencies told the media about this.
“The incident happened on Miloslavskaya Street. The junior sergeant took out an M-67 grenade and threw it in the courtyard of an apartment building. The grenade fragments damaged 11 cars, as well as the façade and windows of the Coral shopping center. No people were injured,” says the source.
He also added that after the arrest, a search was carried out at the military house, where a lot of ammunition was also found.
“Two artillery shells with a caliber of 30 millimeters were seized from the military man’s apartment. 4 magazines for the machine gun, one of which contained 30 rounds. F-1 grenade body, two fuses, 4 M-67 grenades, a shot for an under-barrel grenade launcher,” the source said and added that a criminal case has been opened on this fact.
The military man faces from three to seven years in prison.
