Police can detain a man for lack of documents, - head of NPU

The head of the National Police, Ivan Vyhovsky, reports that the police can detain a man for lack of documents. And if he tries to escape, force will be used.

If a man who is stopped on the street is wanted by the TCC, the police will take him to the military registration and enlistment office.

If a man does not have a military registration document or an identity card, he will be detained for identification.

If a man does not have a military registration document, but has an identity card and is not wanted by the TCC, information about him can be transferred to the military registration and enlistment office.

Moreover, if a man simply tries to run away from the cops, they can use force and special equipment on him: handcuffs, rubber and plastic batons.
