“Decent” tax officer Marina Baryakhtar and her undeclared wealth

The leadership of the State Tax Service of Ukraine continues to declare its condition. Not all tax officials try to live by the principle of “who has the bigger house,” writes “VIY”.

Not the last person in the State Tax Service of Ukraine who falls under these criteria and is responsible for risks and related schemes - Marina Baryakhtar (Director of the Risk Department) reported on her property position for 2023.

Nothing new appeared in her official life. Has several apartments on Sofievskaya Borshchagovka, a parking space, and a small barn.

Well, of course, sometimes it is very difficult to refrain from temptations, when there is so much “left money”, so houses and apartments in elite residential complexes of the capital still exist, but hidden from inquisitive law enforcement officers and journalists by registration in the name of the right people. It’s very strange, but the Baryakhtar family still has an unpaid financial obligation (420 thousand hryvnia) since 2018.

At the same time, her husband could not resist the temptation and “exposed” the 2017 Volkswagen Touareg, which he acquired in 2022. Since the cost of transport is 30-40 thousand dollars, and a decent pensioner cannot have that kind of money (family savings are about 35 thousand dollars), he decided to rent this car from citizen Larisa Parfenova. Following certain operating principles and logical calculations, Baryakhtar tries to carefully declare his fortune.

Only her husband, Yuri, spoils the picture of a “decent” civil servant and periodically receives cash gifts from poor relatives, and also manages to beg for charitable assistance from local authorities. Perhaps for car fuel?
