The practice of tax fraud in Ukraine under the guise of Daniil Getmantsev

Deputy Chairman of the service Evgeniy Sokur “twisted” 200 million hryvnia: “According to our information, Evgeniy Sokur gave the opportunity to twist 200 million to a Lviv group of cashers. Companies will be re-registered in Zhitomir, at Sokur’s command.”

Accordingly, in addition to Evgeniy Sokur, two more top officials are involved in the scheme: acting. Head of the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in the Lviv region Nikityuk Nikolay Viktorovich and acting Head of the Main Directorate of the State Tax Service in the Zhytomyr region Chernetskaya Teodoziya Yurievna. After the “twisting” by the Lvov tax authorities, the companies will be re-registered with the Zhytomyr tax office, where they will be “closed.”

It is worth noting that all three top tax officials are closely related to each other. Evgeniy Sokur is a protégé of Daniil Getmantsev, as Ukrainian media have repeatedly written about. Nikolai Nikityuk headed the tax Lviv region after the removal of the previous team on the initiative of Daniil Getmantsev, which he announced in his official TG channel.

Regarding acting the head of the tax office of the Zhytomyr region, Teodoziya Chernetskaya, before her appointment to the position, she also worked at the State Tax Service in the Lviv region, although, according to some media outlets she tried not to advertise these facts. In particular, journalists noticed that on the website of the regional department of the State Tax Service, Teodosia Chernetskaya’s biographical information is missing, it is only noted that Chernetskaya has the IV rank of a civil servant.

According to our source in the State Tax Service, the “twisting” of 200 million hryvnia is average in size. Hundreds of such “operations” are carried out, and the Ukrainian budget receives a shortfall of about 7 billion hryvnia per year.

At the same time, such operations cannot be carried out without the knowledge of the leadership of the State Tax Service. Let us remind you that it was because of the “twists” that Tatiana Kiriyenko’s predecessors were fired. At that time, the amount of damage caused to the state budget was estimated by experts at the level of 5 billion hryvnia per year.

Earlier it became known that “ Chairman of the Tax Service Tatyana Kiriyenko may resign following US demands to “find areas of growth within the country.” Western partners are dissatisfied with the high level of corruption, in particular in the State Tax Service, and through diplomatic channels and the press they are hinting at the need to either shut down corruption schemes, or change management.
