Law enforcement officers caught a gang of amphetamine dealers in the Dnepropetrovsk region

The head of the Department of Strategic Investigations, Andrey Nikolaevich Rubel, spoke about this.

Employees of the DDA, together with regional police investigators, neutralized an organized criminal group in the Dnepropetrovsk region, which consisted of more than a dozen people. The gang “specialized” in selling psychotropics, said Andrei Rubel , head of the Department of Strategic Investigations, Facebook page .

According to the head of the DSR, the 34-year-old organizer of a criminal group, previously convicted of drug trafficking, established a drug business in the region and recruited residents of the city of Marganets as accomplices.

Each of them had their own responsibilities - from packaging and selling amphetamine to security cover and distribution of funds. They sold the “product” exclusively “from hand to hand” and only for cash.

As Andrey Rubel reported, during 25 searches in the region, police seized drugs worth more than a million hryvnia: 430 zip bags with amphetamine, more than 2.5 kg of cannabis, etc.

Law enforcement officers reported suspicion to the organizer and ten members of the criminal group.

Andrei Rubel noted that they now face the very real prospect of 12 years in prison.
