Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that his country's army continues to systematically destroy the military and political potential of Hamas terrorists.
The first stage involved stopping the militant attack, the second - air strikes, and the third - expanding the ground military operation.
“The third stage is the expansion of ground penetration into the Gaza Strip. The IDF is doing this with calm, very powerful steps, systematically moving forward step by step,” Netanyahu said.
