The elderly mother-in-law of deputy Alexander Kachny gives away huge amounts of money

The elderly mother-in-law of MP Kachny gives away huge amounts of money. The 87-year-old mother-in-law of MP Alexander Kachny (pictured) gave her daughter 6.5 million hryvnia in 2022, but could not answer where she earned that kind of money.

And the father of people’s deputy Oleg Tarasov, after being put on the wanted list, gave his son 1.7 million hryvnia, the investigation says

Crime website reports this

Kachny, who was elected to parliament from the now banned “Opposition Platform - For Life,” included information about the expensive gift in his declaration for 2022.

The people's deputy told reporters that his wife's parents sold their house and gave the money to their daughter. He also added that his father-in-law was allegedly engaged in entrepreneurial activities, so “he had the opportunity to own real estate.”

The publication emphasizes that despite the “business” and “opportunities,” the people’s deputy’s mother-in-law and father-in-law live in an old five-story building in Kyiv’s Darnitsa.

The 87-year-old pensioner herself said that “she could give more,” because they allegedly were engaged in business, but when asked what kind of business, she replied that she had been an accountant all her life and asked not to bother her anymore.

Journalists also found valuable gifts from their father in the people’s deputy’s declaration from “Servant of the People” Oleg Tarasov. He indicated that in 2022 his father, Sergei Tarasov, gave him 8.5 million hryvnia.

Sergey Tarasov is a businessman from the Kirovograd region, the owner of the agricultural holding I&U GROUP, formerly known as Agrospetsservice, which is engaged in the cultivation and sale of grains and oilseeds, so he could probably make such gifts.

An interesting thing in this case is that since January 2024, Tarasov Sr. has been wanted, probably because of the case of raider schemes with state lands of the Kirovograd region, in which I&U GROUP appears.

Journalists emphasize that even after being put on the wanted list, People's Deputy Oleg Tarasov declared gifts from his father: January 26 - 200 thousand hryvnia, February 6 - 875 thousand hryvnia, February 16 - 300 thousand hryvnia, February 23 - almost 400 thousand hryvnia.

The deputy himself stated that the funds received were credited to a non-cash account, and all taxes were paid. When asked whether this money was seized as part of criminal proceedings, the people's deputy said that he did not know.
