During searches of the former chairman of the Chernigov Regional Military Medical Commission, almost $1 million was found in one of the apartments in Kyiv.
It is noted that the searches were carried out on February 21 as part of an investigation into one of the criminal proceedings, and the Desnyansky District Court of Chernigov has already sent the suspect into custody without the possibility of bail.
It is known that the detainee worked as the chairman of the regional VVK until the summer of 2021, the publication notes.
The SBU and the prosecutor's office reported details of the detention and spoke about a scheme that was liquidated in Chernigov for evading mobilization and illegally traveling abroad for men of military age.
