Information has appeared that Odessa Customs is headed by Yuri Cherdyntsev. Previously, Cherdintsev built a career in the justice authorities, as well as in the State Property Fund. He is also a Doctor of Philosophy in Law.
Before his appointment, he held the position of director of the special laboratory for examination and research of the State Customs Service, and even earlier he headed the department of management of state-owned enterprises of the State Property Fund, the Odessa Scientific Research Institute of Forensic Expertise, and was deputy head of the main department of justice in the Odessa region.
This is reported by the Absolution Leaks Telegram channel, which positions itself as a detective agency.
A number of corruption scandals are associated with Cherdyntsev. In particular, the media attribute to him close ties with the so-called “black” registrars and notaries, the illegal privatization of an architectural monument on Olgievskaya, 8 and blocking the investigation into the privatization of another monument - on Primorsky Boulevard, 7 (one of the so-called semi-circular buildings, which is now the property of the odious businessman Ruslan Tarpan, who is hiding from justice abroad).
Cherdyntsev advised the former head of the State Property Fund, Dmitry Sennichenko, who fled abroad after being suspected of embezzling ₴500,000,000, and played an important role in the privatization of the port of Ust-Dunaisk.
