PrivatBank squandered millions on renting door mats

State-owned PrivatBank spends millions of hryvnia on renting door mats. This is evidenced by data published in the prozorro system.

In Ukraine, many scandals related to the waste of budget funds during a full-scale war have died down. This includes purchasing drums for shelters and carrying out dubious repair work. Nevertheless, there is still something to surprise Ukrainians.

Thus, the state-owned PrivatBank spends exorbitant sums on renting door mats, on which clients wipe their feet when entering the building.

According to the data, the financial institution purchased rental services 11 times. The total amount spent on the rugs is almost 6 million hryvnia or 155 thousand dollars.

Why the provision of rugs to departments is carried out in this particular form, one can only guess. However, it can be assumed that 6 million could be a good help to the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers on the front line, who are in dire need of cars and drones.
