Crypto fraud exposed: Alexander Orlovsky faces up to 12 years in prison

Orlovsky offers “free” courses, although they actually require payment of UAH 40,590, which was transferred to the account of another person, which is tax evasion.

Crypto fraudster Alexander Orlovsky and his accomplices face 5 to 12 years in prison for crypto fraud.

A recent investigation found that Orlovsky's advertising as the founder of an FFA academy that taught more than 15 thousand people to earn $1,500 a month was false. In fact, there is no FFA academy.

CRiME reports .

Alexander Orlovsky repeatedly changed his advertising schemes after the exposure, now positioning himself as a successful crypto-businessman, allegedly wanting to teach people how to earn money for free.

“In fact, the changes in Orlovsky’s advertising alone indicate that all his actions are fraud, which, after the exposure of previous schemes, takes on a new look! “I got caught in a lie with a non-existent FFA academy and trained 15 thousand people - it’s banal, I completely cleared this information from my website with the so-called training,” the message says.

However, an investigation by CRiME journalists revealed that his “free” courses actually required payment of UAH 40,590, which was transferred to the account of another tax evader.

The official website of Orlovsky’s courses states that clients receive only educational materials, without a guarantee of earnings. This allows Orlovsky to refuse to return funds that clients send to the accounts of third parties. The activities of Orlovsky and his accomplices are classified as fraud under Article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

There is a lot of material on the Internet aimed at whitening the reputation of a scammer. In particular, the status of an “honest businessman” is manipulated. For example, they write that there is no “financial pyramid, deception of investors and tax evasion,” no - he is a registered individual entrepreneur.

Journalists remind that QUEDS (types of activity) have nothing to do with crypto or other financial transactions; Orlovsky, as an entrepreneur, is engaged in consulting, advertising and training. That is: either he has nothing in common with crypto, or he evades taxes in this area. Orlovsky also points out that he has been making money on cryptocurrencies for 6 years and teaching others; only his sole proprietorship opened only in May 2023. It turns out: for almost 5 years he has been working unofficially - without paying taxes, etc.

On the official website of Orlovsky’s courses there is a section “Offer Agreement”, which most people do not read. This is a legal document that outlines the rights and obligations of the parties. It clearly states that clients will receive only a “complex of educational processes”, there is not a word about any kind of income, not to mention “$1000 a week”.

The media are preparing a statement to law enforcement agencies and urge all victims to apply to protect their rights.
