Roman Dmitriv, head of the Gorsky Village Council, is suspected of fraud with credit money, according to the National Police.

The criminal misappropriation of money by government officials through manipulation of public procurement continues.

Thus, as a result of Dmitriv’s machinations, as reported on the National Police website, the state suffered damage in the amount of almost 700 thousand UAH. Dmitriv himself, who confirmed the receipt of suspicion on his Facebook page, confirmed that we were talking about the purchase of a specialized car for a nursing home, denying that he was hiding. If found guilty, he faces up to eight years in prison and a ban on holding certain positions for up to three years.

The investigation established that Dmitry entered into an agreement to purchase a used car at an inflated price, which resulted in damage in the amount of UAH 700 thousand. The Kiev Regional Prosecutor's Office provides procedural guidance on this criminal proceeding under Part 4 of Art. 191 of the Criminal Code, and as a preventive measure for Dmitriv, bail was set in the amount of 686 thousand hryvnia.
