Russia is sending troops to the left bank of the Kherson region, the enemy is trying to penetrate the rear of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, - Bratchuk

The Russian terrorist army is trying to take over the positions of the Ukrainian military on the left bank of the Kherson region. To do this, the enemy overthrows troops there.

In particular, the invaders are trying to penetrate the rear of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and drive out the Ukrainian defenders from the left bank. Speaker of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army “South” Sergei Bratchuk spoke about this during the telethon.

According to him, Russian troops are trying to push new units onto the left bank of the Kherson region. Moreover, the civilian population suffers even more from this. This is due to the strengthening of filtration measures on the left bank.

“While the enemy is trying to maximally saturate the defense on the left bank of the Dnieper, of course, new units are appearing, and in order to provide them with housing, filtration measures are being carried out. The goal is to identify the Ukrainian underground, people who remain Ukrainians in such conditions and try to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These events are carried out very cruelly,” Bratchuk said.

He also noted that the Russian army is trying to send small landing groups behind the Ukrainian defenders. The enemy penetrates the positions of Ukrainian troops with armored vehicles, but does not achieve the desired result and suffers losses.

“The enemy tries to change tactics almost every day; enemy artillery and aviation are very active. Well, and this is the highlight in recent days, the enemy is trying to drop small groups of troops using equipment, doing this to the rear of our units, but he is not succeeding. After artillery pressure, the equipment and this landing force are destroyed. Officer assault teams also appeared. Somehow guilty Russian officers are sent there,” Bratchuk noted.
