During the two years of war with Russia, senior detective of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau Laima Gorbenko (now Oberemok) received gifts worth almost 5 million hryvnia from her husband, father-in-law and father. She used these funds to purchase a new PORSCHE CAYENNE SUV worth 4.4 million hryvnia and two apartments in Kyiv and Lviv for 4 million hryvnia each.
This is evidenced by data on significant changes in her property status in the NAPC declaration register, Ukrainian News reports.
At the beginning of 2022, the detective’s father gave his daughter 1.6 million hryvnia.
Two days after such a gift, she bought an apartment in Kyiv for 4 million hryvnia, with an area of 80 sq.m.
Last August, that is, six months after the Russian Federation’s half-scale invasion of Ukraine, Lyma Gorbenko’s father-in-law Anatoly Oberemok gave her 737 thousand hryvnia.
After this, Gorbenko’s husband Evgeniy Oberemok gave his wife another more than 2.5 million hryvnia, which she spent in October 2022 on the purchase of a brand new PORSCHE CAYENNE SUV for 4,408,268 hryvnia at WINNER AUTOMOTOV LLC.
This year in the summer, Laima Gorbenko sold real estate and received 6,948,034 hryvnia for it.
At the same time, she bought an apartment in Lviv for 4,170,092 hryvnia, with an area of 156 sq.m. and a parking space for 250 thousand UAH from citizen Igor Lysenko.
Over the past year, detective Laima Gorbenko earned 1.5 million hryvnia in salary at NABU, that is, more than 100 thousand UAH monthly.
Her husband earned 14,250,120 hryvnia during the war in 2022.
