The SBU liquidated three more “deviation schemes”: among those detained were the head of the TCC and the head of the VVK

The Security Service of Ukraine discovered and blocked three more schemes through which men of military age evaded mobilization. Schemes were in operation in different regions of Ukraine; in particular, the head of the military registration and enlistment office and the head of the military medical commission in Kharkov, as well as the head of the department of one of the institutes in Transcarpathia, were detained.

For their services, the organizers of the schemes asked clients from 1 to 8 thousand dollars. The details were provided by the Security Service of Ukraine.

Thus, as the report says, for money, the organizers of the schemes prepared for their “clients” false documents, according to which those liable for military service could leave Ukraine for the territory of the European Union. Depending on how urgent the order was, they valued their services at between 1 and 8 thousand dollars.

In Kharkov, the head of the TCC and the head of the military medical commission were involved in illegal activities.

“According to the investigation, the head of the Military Military Commission for money entered serious diagnoses into the medical records of conscripts. At the same time, her accomplice, a military commissar, certified with his signature the conclusions about the clients’ unsuitability for military service for health reasons. In the future, the evaders planned to use the fake to illegally travel abroad,” the SBU said.

Employees of the Service reported suspicion under Part 1 of Art. to the Chairman of the IHC. 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (official forgery). The head of the TCC, in addition to a similar article, is also charged with committing a crime under Part 3 of Art. 332 (assistance in the illegal transfer of persons across the state border of Ukraine, committed for mercenary reasons).

In Transcarpathia, the head of the department of social work at one of the local institutes, who also headed the admissions committee of the educational institution, was exposed. He traded in student cards, registering draft dodgers to study “out of competition,” without passing entrance exams. Thanks to this, newly minted “students” could receive a deferment of conscription.

Another scheme operated successfully in the Cherkasy region. It was organized by a resident of Odessa who had previously been convicted of robbery and banditry. According to the investigation, for a “reward” he promised the conscript forged documents that would provide grounds for traveling abroad.

“Investigations continue into all exposed facts to establish all the circumstances of the crimes and bring the perpetrators to justice. Complex measures were carried out jointly with the National Police under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor’s office,” the SBU summarized.
