The SBU exposed a Russian informant who leaked information about the movement of the Defense Forces

The SBU exposed a Russian informant in Krivoy Rog who was leaking flight directions of Ukrainian military aviation.

The Security Service has exposed another informant who was collecting information about the movement of the Defense Forces and the consequences of enemy shelling in the Dnepropetrovsk region, the Security Service of Ukraine reports.

The attacker recorded the flight directions of combat aircraft and helicopters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carrying out missions at the front. He forwarded the information he received through the social network Vkontakte in the form of photographs with coordinates.

According to the investigation, the henchman of the Rashists turned out to be a resident of Krivoy Rog, who after February 24, 2022 began collecting and disseminating information about the deployment of the Defense Forces. He contacted his friend from Krasnodar, who is in the field of view of the Russian special services.

It was through it that information about the routes of movement of Ukrainian military equipment and the consequences of Russian air attacks could reach the occupiers. During a search at the defendant’s place of residence, computer equipment was discovered, which he used in subversive activities in favor of the aggressor country.

Also, forbidden symbols of the communist regime were confiscated from his house. Based on the evidence collected, Security Service investigators informed him of suspicion under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

• Part 2 Art. 114-2 (unauthorized dissemination of information about the direction, movement of weapons, weapons and ammunition to Ukraine, movement, movement or deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine);
• Part 1 Art. 436-1 (production, distribution of communist, Nazi symbols and propaganda of communist and nationalist totalitarian regimes).

The investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crime.

Complex measures were carried out by SBU officers in the Dnipropetrovsk region under the procedural leadership of the regional prosecutor's office.
