The SBU destroyed a Russian installation that controlled the sky for 700 kilometers

The Ukrainian Security Service hit the Russian long-range radar complex Nebo-U. The radar was based in the Bryansk region of Russia and monitored the sky 700 kilometers deep into Ukraine.

This was reported by Ukrinform with reference to its own sources in the SBU.

“This time, the Russians have one less modernized Nebo-U complex, which helped the enemy identify Ukrainian weapons and supported bombers that attack the Ukrainian border area with KABs,” the journalists’ interlocutor said.

According to the source, the enemy system was hit with the help of seven aircraft-type kamikaze drones. The cost of the radar is estimated at $100 million.

They also note that the Nebo-U complex is no longer operational and “probably turned into a colander.” Now the enemy has fewer opportunities to detect air targets along the northern border of Ukraine.

It should be noted that this is the second Russian Nebo-U complex, which was destroyed by the 13th Main Directorate of Military Counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine. The first one was destroyed by Ukrainian special forces in the Belgorod region of Russia. Also recently, the Kasta-2E2 radar complex was destroyed near the temporarily occupied Ukrainian Berdyansk.

Earlier they wrote that on April 8, in the Kaliningrad region of Russia, a fire occurred on the Serpukhov missile ship, which is a small missile ship of Project 21631 Buyan-M. As a result, the missile carrier received significant damage.
