He gave his coordinates to the Armed Forces of Ukraine in exchange for a position in the occupation authorities: an FSB agent was detained in the Odessa region

The Security Service of Ukraine detained another FSB agent in Odessa, who was carrying out tasks to correct missile attacks on the city.

Information about this was provided by a representative of the SBU.

The attacker collected coordinates for future missile and drone attacks on combat positions of air defense systems defending the airspace of Odessa. To accomplish his task, he traveled around the city and its environs, photographing strategic sites.

The attacker transmitted the information received to a curator from Russia through an anonymous chat in the messenger. If the attack on Odessa was successful, the FSB subordinate hoped for celebration and the patronage of the Russian special service to head the “construction department” of the occupation administration.

SBU officers exposed and documented the agent in advance, detaining him red-handed near a military facility where he was planning to shoot the perimeter. The attacker was identified as a 55-year-old resident of a coastal village in the Odessa region, who actively supported pro-Kremlin views through Russian TG channels.

During a search at the detainee's place of residence, two mobile phones were seized, which he used to communicate with the FSB. The attacker was reported as a suspect under Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (state treason committed under martial law). He remains in custody and faces life imprisonment.
