Secretary of the village council Boris Tkachenko forgot to add a million to his salary: the calculator malfunctioned

While local residents are struggling to survive and dream only of a decent pension, Boris Tkachenko lives in a big way.

In the remote village of Olievka, where time passes slowly and people’s lives are connected with labor on the land, one name causes bewilderment among local residents - Boris Tkachenko, secretary of the local village council. While pensioners and ordinary workers fight for every penny, he receives “crazy” amounts of money.

The declaration for 2023, which Boris announced on the last day of the required deadline, shocked society. On paper, Tkachenko’s salary was 861 thousand 252 hryvnia.

However, in the corrected version of the declaration, which he posted later, the figure increased to 1 million 861 thousand 252 hryvnia. As it turned out, Boris simply forgot to add a million to his salary.

Boris Tkachenko, apparently, is not used to hiding his success. In 2019, he tried to get into the Verkhovna Rada, but the results of his election campaign left much to be desired - only 0.77% of the vote.

But even this bad experience cost him a tidy sum - he spent about 150 thousand hryvnia on election advertising and events.

Subsequently, he found his place in local politics and became secretary of the Olievsky village council. And although his parliamentary career ended in failure, Tkachenko became a truly influential person in the local administration.

After the early departure of the chairman of the council, he actually headed one of the richest territorial communities in the Zhytomyr region.

While local residents are struggling to survive and dream only of a decent pension, the secretary of the village council seems to live in a completely different world, where money flows like a river.

The question, of course, remains - how did he achieve such monetary success in an environment where many are struggling to make ends meet?
