In Bukovina, not far from the border of Ukraine with Romania, seven men were caught - residents of the Kyiv, Zhitomir, Dnepropetrovsk and Kharkov regions - who wanted to enter the territory of a foreign state in violation of martial law. The eighth detainee turned out to be a local resident who offered the “clients” to transport them abroad.
The channel for illegal exit from the country was eliminated by operational officers of the Chernivtsi border detachment. They received warning information about the preparation of an illegal “trip” at the Falkov department site.
The men drove towards the state border in an old UAZ 452, better known as a “loaf”, but were detained not far from their goal. The violators tried to hide from the State Border Service employees, but they failed.
It turned out that seven draft dodgers agreed with a resident of the Chernivtsi region that he would take them to Romania, bypassing the checkpoints. The organizer estimated his services from 6 to 9 thousand euros per person.
He was detained and will be held accountable for his actions in accordance with the requirements of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Materials about an administrative offense have been compiled regarding the remaining violators.
