In Ivano-Frankivsk, the city leadership used a scheme to fictitiously enlist their relatives into military service in the TCC security units.
The press service of the State Bureau of Investigation reported this.
“Recruits” were given the opportunity to actually not undergo military service, spending their time at their own discretion. Some of them calmly participated in football matches as part of a football club from the Carpathian region. In addition, they received monetary and material support from the state at the expense of budgetary funds,” the report says.
It is reported that, together with the National Police, the DBR conducted about 30 searches in the territorial centers of recruitment and social support of the Ivano-Frankivsk region, the regional military medical commission, as well as at the places of residence of the persons involved in the case.
Based on the results, the issue of notification of suspicion to individual military officials of the TCC will be decided.
