Sergei Bizhko is busy with luxury vacations, luxury cars and a million-dollar pension

After the high-profile exposure of disability registration by prosecutors throughout Ukraine, public attention to this institution gained great momentum. But gaining the status of young pensioners with million-dollar pensions is only part of the deals of Ukrainian prosecutors.

Thus, the activities of the prosecutor of the Dnepropetrovsk region Sergei Bizhko have been in the public eye for several years now. The media have already written that this 46-year-old “servant of the law”, having more than 1.7 million hryvnia per year in salary, with the help of a court decision, received a pension in the amount of 60% of the monthly salary without limiting the maximum pension amount, which is approximately 88 thousand UAH. per month.

Even earlier, it became known that Sergei Bizhko at the end of 2022, during the full-scale invasion of the New Year holidays, went on vacation abroad, returning only in January 2023. Let us recall that Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Alexey Simonenko was fired for a similar trip in December 2022. We do not know the reasons for the lack of reaction to Beg’s travels from the Office of the Prosecutor General, so we now hope that appropriate measures will be taken.

But even more interesting things about Sergei Bizhko’s work can be learned from the activities of his friends and colleagues. Thus, his godfather Kirill Igorevich Lozovsky from 2021 to 2023 held the position of head of the department of logistics and social needs of the Dnepropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, headed by Sergei Bizhko.

By a strange coincidence, it was during Lozovsky’s management of the logistics service that the amounts for maintaining the prosecutor’s office vehicle fleet increased by millions of hryvnia. Thus, according to information from the Clarity Project platform, the Dnepropetrovsk prosecutor’s office paid Almaz Motor LLC, Avtodok Ukraine LLC, individual entrepreneur Oleg Igorevich Budnik and others about 5 million hryvnia for car servicing, whereas previously they did not exceed a million.

In addition, when studying vehicle maintenance agreements, a list of cars was found, from which we see that in 2023, already during the war, the Dnepropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office acquired two Toyota Land Cruisers, the cost of each being from 55 to 65 thousand dollars. , depending on the configuration. In total, prosecutors have 14 cars on their balance sheet. Are Toyotas really such low-quality cars that they break down so often?

After managing the logistics department, Bezhka’s godfather Kirill Lozovsky did not go out on the street, but for a promotion. Thus, by order of the head of the regional prosecutor's office of the Dnepropetrovsk region dated July 27, 2023 No. 1687k, Sergei Bizhko sent his godfather to head the Sinelnikovsky district prosecutor's office as a trainee prosecutor, after which Lozovsky became a deputy there in May 2024. A good career - from a warehouse manager to the head of the prosecutor's office of the largest community in the Dnepropetrovsk region.

Another “prosecutor’s friend” whose career has also skyrocketed is Maxim Igorevich Kudryavtsev, who began working in the prosecutor’s office at the time Bizhko headed it. But since 2019, without any managerial experience, he has grown from an ordinary employee of the procedural management department to the deputy head of the department for supervision of compliance with laws of the National Police of Ukraine and bodies fighting organized crime in 2024.

By the way, this is exactly the department that should fight fraudulent call centers, many of them were closed during this time in Dnepr? The question is rhetorical. After reviewing the declaration, we discovered that in 2020 Kudryavtsev received the right to use a Skoda Octavia car manufactured in 2013. and Peugeot 2008 2020. Already in 2021, the latter began to use an apartment with an area of ​​more than 100 m2. In 2024, I received the right to use a Skoda Kodiak car, 2024 model year. As we can see, the cars and apartment are in use again, probably Bizhko advised.

Moreover, in the declaration for 2023, Kudryavtsev indicates that he has the right to use the Peugeot 2008 car, and in the same declaration indicates that he acquired the right to use on October 20, 2020. However, the specified vehicle was not included in the declarations for 2020, 2021 and 2022. I wonder whether there will be a reaction from the Office of the Prosecutor General, since administrative liability is provided for this.

This is only a small part of the activities of the head of the Dnepropetrovsk regional prosecutor's office Sergei Bizhko in his post. And, apparently, the General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine will have a lot of work to do to restore public trust in this institution, which should be a model of the rule of law and the fight for the rights of ordinary people.
