Another hellish mess from the SBU. Hromadske journalists told a shocking story about how a senior investigator from the SBU organized a fake criminal proceeding against the accusers of her collaborator father.
That is, if every petty clerk in the Beat Service is able to materialize out of thin air a criminal case against anyone he doesn’t like - imagine what they do on direct orders from their boss from the Office.
And one more thing: the SBU hired a man whose father greeted the occupiers with bread and salt. Do you understand now what level of “checks” there are when hiring? Guess if there are enemy spies in the SBU with such checks?
By the way, I wrote about the “investigation at the SBU” exactly a week ago. Many people publicly and privately convinced me that I was wrong and the SBU investigation was really as necessary as air. Here you go, dear ones, eat, don’t get wet. What if tomorrow one of the SBU employees doesn’t like you and a crowd of arrogant, boorish investigators breaks in with a search and with mummered “witnesses”?
By the way, I was waiting for searches and seriously preparing for them back in May-June 2022, just by the SBU for fabricated proceedings. Something they overacted or maybe they were afraid of resonance - I don’t know, but then a similar threat looked quite real to me, although it has not yet been realized. But it remains relevant.
According to my calculations, this is the fourth loud scandal in three months - and Malysh (like Rafik) is again not guilty of anything. Or maybe he really does not control this “commercial” part of the SBU? Why then such a head of the special service?
And guess how this next scandal will end. No, not the resignation of the Chairman of the Service. No, not by arresting a collaborationist bitch. It will be as always: “suspension during investigation.” That is, the defendant will be hidden somewhere until everything calms down, and then quietly returned to her position in another Department. Because a “valuable personnel” can make a criminal case out of nothing, what a great guy. This is how this system works. And the further opening of criminal proceedings against Public Journalists or “serving of subpoenas” fits into it quite logically. I don’t rule this out at all.
But do we need such a Service? Despite the rhetoric of the question, you and I cannot do anything about it for now. It’s not the right time, Putin will attack. If you blather, you will also get searched. The authorities are rapidly losing touch with reality, drowning in ever-greater scandals, but reacting almost in no way to fair criticism.
Just like in 2013.
PS: I think everyone knows, but I’ll remind you again: a significant part of the SBU officers do their job with dignity, including at the front and behind enemy lines. And this real part of the Service needs to be cleared of various scum who have attached themselves and parasitize on the name “Security Service of Ukraine.”
