The media, citing their own sources, report that MP Alexander Kunitsky went on a business trip and did not return to Ukraine.
It is alleged that he is planning to move with his family to Canada.
Based on voting data on the website of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Kunitsky did not attend parliamentary meetings over the past week.
There has been no news about this MP in the media over the past month.
Let us recall that in the summer of 2023, Kunitsky received permission from the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, to go on a short-term work trip to Israel, but returned only three weeks later, having been “seen” at the airport in Florida (USA).
Kunitsky was sent to Israel from July 3 to July 7, 2023 “as part of the activities of the Verkhovna Rada parliamentary group on interparliamentary relations with Israel,” where he is a co-chairman.
It recently became known that the mother of a people’s deputy from the “servant of the people” faction tried to transport a significant amount of undeclared cash across the border.
This was reported in the decision of the Solomensky and Kyiv Court of Appeal.
We are talking about a case that they tried to hide. The mother of the People's Deputy Svetlana Kunitskaya was detained on November 18, 2020 during customs control upon departure from Terminal D of Boryspil Airport. The woman planned to travel to Frankfurt in Germany on a Luftgansa flight. Kunitskaya passed through the “green corridor”. Customs officers decided to interrogate her.
The woman claimed that she had 30 thousand dollars with her, which were in a suitcase. According to her, all these funds were her personal ones.
A protocol was drawn up against Svetlana Kunitskaya on violation of customs rules. She tried to transport more than the established limit of 10 thousand euros without a written declaration.
By decision of the Solomensky District Court of Kyiv dated May 21, 2021, Svetlana Kunitskaya was found guilty of violating customs rules, liability for which is provided for in Art. 471 of the Customs Code. However, she was only given a fine of 1.7 thousand hryvnia and the confiscated 18.2 thousand dollars were returned.
It is worth recalling that Artem Dmitruk’s colleague on the law enforcement committee of the Servant of the People Verkhovna Rada, Alexander Kunitsky, unlike the fugitive people’s deputy, has not yet received suspicion of beating a serviceman.
Dmitruk fled the country due to suspicion of beating a serviceman, which occurred in October 2023 in Kyiv at the Protasov shopping center. Kunitsky himself also took part in that fight. The victim claimed that the people's deputies demanded money from him.
The investigation was assigned to the State Bureau of Investigation. But Kunitsky was not declared suspicious. The question arises: why? The video shows Kunitsky participating in the beating. This is a question for SBI investigators.
In March, it became known that Servant of the People Kunitsky was doing business with the occupiers in Crimea.
