In recent months, the Kyiv mayor has suffered a fair amount of stress. First, problems arose with the Degtyarovsky Bridge, which required repairs, then it became necessary to close some sections of the metro due to accidents. And to make things even more difficult, he had to justify himself by saying that the problems with the city's public services were a consequence of the activities of previous leaders. It would seem that this is a real classic that you can’t even laugh at anymore.
However, the destruction of infrastructure does not happen on its own; it wears out due to negligence and improper maintenance. However, it is obvious that Vitaliy Klitschko failed to understand this during his two terms in office, and he chooses to please his friends with a dubious reputation rather than work for the people of Kiev who entrusted him with the city.
In early December, Vitali Klitschko announced the closure of six new metro stations due to flooding and destruction of the tunnel. This came as a shock to the people of Kiev, but did not surprise experts, who had long been talking about the need for repair work. This is especially true for the section between the Lybidskaya and Demeevskaya metro stations. The fact is that the Lybid River flows in this place and the soil often sags. Consequently, even at the construction stage, it became necessary to build a tunnel using a more complex technology that would avoid flooding. Of course, construction then took into account the landscape and probably future development. However, it is unlikely that the designers could have imagined how densely they would begin to build here later, and even more so, it was unlikely that anyone could have predicted that two shopping centers would appear above the Lybidskaya station at once.
After the closure of part of the metro, news began to appear that next summer an unpleasant surprise could await the residents of Obolon. According to the head of the Kyiv Metro, Viktor Braginsky, it is planned to close the Pochayna and Taras Shevchenko stations within six months. He noted that the repair of these stations will be faster than that which will be carried out at Teremki (the currently closed metro stations are planned to be repaired within six months - Ed.). At the same time, Pochayna is a very important city artery, since many people leave the suburbs and transfer to the metro from electric trains and trains. So another collapse cannot be avoided.
Separately, in this context, it became known that the Kiev Metro also intends to check the reliability of the bridge on which the metro runs. We are talking about the Syretsko-Pecherskaya line and the South Bridge. A tender for 710 thousand hryvnia was announced to test the load-bearing structures of a metro train overpass.
Has something so amazing happened now that it is necessary to leave the people of Kiev without convenient public transport? This happened, and it is connected, first of all, with tenders and people who really want to win these competitions.
It has already been written more than once that the director of the Kyiv Metro, Viktor Braginsky, is closely connected with the former deputy of the Kiev City Council from the Chernovetsky Bloc, Denis Komarnitsky. Thus, Kyiv was “milked” with budget funds during the construction of the Podolsko-Voskresensky Bridge. Braginsky is often spotted near the IQ business center, where Komarnitsky has an office.
According to certain data, Denis Komarnitsky is now planning to join the tenders that the Kiev Metro has begun to announce.
In 2021, it was reported that the Komarnitsky orbit company had already won competitions related to reliability testing and analysis of metro structures. Thus, on July 30, 2021, the KP “Directorate for the Construction of Road Transport Facilities” of the Kyiv City State Administration ordered scientific and technical support for the construction of the metro from the Rusanovsky Gardens dam to the planned Raduzhnaya station worth 24.33 million hryvnia from Forma LLC. The company must provide services until the end of 2023. We are talking about research, analysis and monitoring of the reliability and durability of building structures for the future station.
The founders of the Forma company are the former chief engineer of the Darnitskaya route of the South-Western Railway, Oleg Sakhnik and Alexander Stepenko. Stepenko at the same time owns Skystroy Group LLC, and previously - BC Royal House LLC.
According to people's deputy Geo Leros, former deputy of the Kyiv City Council Denis Komarnitsky works through the companies “Forma” and “Skybud Group”.

Now, while the metro has just begun to announce tenders for the renovation of various stations, it is difficult to say which companies Komarnitsky plans to work through. But the fact that he is interested in participating in them does not raise any doubts among both experts and investigative journalists, who have repeatedly caught the so-called “looker” by the sleeve.
Recently, at the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities with the participation of the President of Ukraine, it turned out that the mayor of Kyiv, Vitaliy Klitschko, decided to ignore this event, even in an online format. Vladimir Zelensky spoke very eloquently: “It’s a pity that there is no mayor. We must do everything to ensure that there is a mayor in the capital.” It seems that a bigger kick cannot be expected. Unless the people of Kiev themselves throw the mayor into the trash heap, like in the good old days of popular lustration. And with him Komarnitsky, who is ready to “heat up” the city, despite the war or any other circumstances.
