The report about the mass death of Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers in one of the directions was denied by the General Staff

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denies reports on social networks about 108 deaths in one of the brigades in the Avdiivka direction.

A refutation was posted on the General Staff Facebook page.

The General Staff called such widespread information fake and called for maintaining information hygiene and checking information before publication.

The fake was spread by political scientist Vitaly Bala. He assured that 108 Ukrainian soldiers who fought near Avdiivka died.

As Bala wrote, in one of the brigades near Avdeevka they decided that the military would have the opportunity to go home for the Christmas holidays. They drew lots to see who could leave and those who didn't were very upset. Everyone who drew lots got on buses and left, but it seemed like they didn’t get there.
