Oleg Yatsyuchenko, an employee of the Ternopil regional center, left the country during martial law and openly boasted about it, publishing photos on the Internet from his vacation on the beaches of the Dominican Republic.
The act of an official who sends men like himself, liable for military service, to war, fairly outraged the Ukrainians. It was recently reported in Ternopil Facebook communities, where hundreds of critical comments gathered under the posts.
“Oleg Anatolyevich Yatsyuchenko boasted on Instagram about piquant photos from the beaches of the Dominican Republic. Probably so that everyone could be happy for him. And most of all those whom he sent to defend Ukraine. They say that he himself is from Zbarazh,” says one of the posts.
Judging by the photographs, “tired” of issuing summonses in the Ternopil region, Yatsyuchenko traveled to the Dominican Republic with his lady love. He boasted on camera about how they were abroad, hugging and kissing, enjoying the “sun, sea and sand.”
In the photo, the man even indicated the geolocation so that his subscribers would not think long about where exactly in the Ternopil region there are such species. There were many of Yatsyuchenko’s friends who liked him, but the majority demanded that the brave TCC employee be sent to the front.
“I’ve had a rest, now I can change the guys on the front line so they can rest,” “A familiar face. Now let him replace someone from the front line. I already had plenty of rest. And how will he want to go home to his relatives for 10 days, even if they’ve been looking for a replacement for him for 8 months,” “Let him go to the front, rest and feel what the guys feel who haven’t even been home for 1.7 [years],” “He’ll come back from vacation and immediately to the front line,” netizens pointed out.
Many emphasized the fact that the TCC employee, who mobilizes men, publicly boasts of a luxury vacation.
According to information from open sources, Oleg Anatolyevich Yatsyuchenko is listed in the register of declarations as an officer of the recruiting and staffing department of the Ternopil RTCC and joint venture.
“But this is not his only position, he is also registered as an investigator of the inquiry sector of the police department No. 4 of the Ternopil Regional Unitary Administration of the Main Directorate of Police in the Ternopil region, the city of Zbarazh. By the way, that’s where he’s from. We are talking about the same man, because the data in the declarations coincide,” says the TSN.ua story.
During martial law, employees of the National Police are prohibited from traveling abroad, as are all citizens liable for military service. Although Oleg Yatsyuchenko, according to OBOZ.UA sources, has not been working in the police for about five years.
It is noteworthy that TCC and JV, where he works, openly confirmed the leave of their employee. They assured that Yatsyuchenko “went abroad legally,” but people expressed doubts.
“I wonder how he left? Probably, the wife has a second disability group,” “To the front line, along with all those TCC workers, instead of the guys who are already 1.8-2 years old. Maybe it’s time to change them?”, “Was it possible? So, can men leave?”, “But the military cannot afford such a vacation, they want silence and get at least a little sleep,” “This is just rock bottom. Such a bloody war. And here is complete relaxation. There are no words. It’s a shame…” the Ukrainians continued to express their indignation.
