In the Odessa region, the Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine, as a result of a tender, entered into a contract with ViDi Avtostrada LLC for the purchase of a passenger car worth 1.80 million hryvnia.

This year it is expected to deliver a specialized passenger car based on the Toyota Land Cruiser 150 Prado Comfort+ SUV with flashing lights.
The dark blue metallic all-wheel drive vehicle will have a 2.8 liter diesel engine and an automatic transmission. It will have various safety systems, front and side airbags for the driver and front passenger, a driver's knee airbag, side curtain airbags, cruise control, climate control, front and rear parking sensors, and a parking assist system with a rear view camera. static graphic prompts, engine start button, rain and light sensors, heated front seats, electrically adjustable and heated exterior mirrors. Additionally, the vehicle must be equipped with two XT-4 Blue/Blue LED strobe headlights.
The salons do not have the Comfort+ package, but the Comfort package costs from UAH 1.82 million.
The company received this order without competition, because no one else came to the open auction. To participate in them, it was necessary to bring a contract similar to the subject of purchase specified in the tender documentation for the last two years. ViDi Avtostrada submitted an agreement with the Security Police Department in the Odessa region for 2021 for Toyota Camry.
Citizens filed a number of appeals to the State Audit Service regarding the inappropriateness of this purchase: “Unreasonable expenditure of public funds during the war. Volunteers use these funds to drive 3-4 completed and converted vehicles to perform combat missions. And this is 3-4 times more lives saved. Funds must be spent wisely. And if for your own purposes, then you can drive around the Odessa region in a cheaper car”, “Buy a car easier! Money for the Armed Forces of Ukraine!!!”, “Cars are needed for the front line, not for transporting government officials. Now you can buy cars easier and cheaper. Or there is public transport.”
The ViDi Avtostrada company from near Kyiv, which is the official dealer of Toyota cars in Ukraine, is headed by Alexander Dzhurinsky. She is part of the ViDi Vitaly Dzhurinsky group.
