The United States of America (USA) has imposed new sanctions against more than 300 individuals and legal entities in the Russian Federation and third countries that help the enemy maintain its war machine.
The new sanctions restrictions also expand the scope of secondary sanctions that have been imposed against foreign financial institutions. In particular, the restrictions affected the Russian military-industrial complex (MIC). He was banned from using American software and information technology services.
As mentioned above, sanctions were imposed against more than 300 individuals and legal entities both in Russia and abroad. We are talking about countries in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Central Asia and the Caribbean.
For example, the list included:
- Moscow Exchange (MOEX);
- National Clearing Center (NCC);
- JSC National Settlement Depository;
- insurance company "Sogaz";
- JSC Russian National Reinsurance Company.
The sanctions also affected:
- Russian banks with their offices in China, India and other countries;
- technological enterprises that manufacture products for the military-industrial complex of a terrorist country;
- transnational networks that work with Russian-made gold, facilitate the production of drones in Russia, and also help the enemy circumvent sanctions.
Sanctions against Russia
Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the West has significantly strengthened sanctions against the terrorist country. As an example, the European Union (EU) has already introduced a total of 13 packages of sanctions restrictions. Moreover, work is already underway on the next 14th package. 21 Russian companies may be included in the new list, however, the list has not yet been made public.
