In 2024, Kudrik’s sons became the owners of essentially an entire residential complex in Sofievskaya Borshchagovka.
The Borshchagovskaya community, located close to Kyiv, has been buying up private kindergartens and the land underneath them at high prices since 2020, and the sellers include those around the people for whom the same community previously acquired this land. The head of the community, Oles Kudrik, assures that everything is in order with the prices for kindergartens, but at the same time he cannot explain how his sons have managed to acquire assets worth tens of millions of hryvnia in recent years.
“Sadochka fever” started in Sofievskaya Borshchagovka before the 2020 local elections. Here they purchased the Divosvit kindergarten, located on the territory of the Sofia Kyiv residential complex. It was built by the entourage of ex-People's Deputy Sergei Skuratovsky, for whom the village council had allocated land here several years earlier. The kindergarten, according to documents, was bought for almost 70 million hryvnia. During the same period of time, in other regions, similar preschool institutions were built from scratch and it cost almost half as much. The seller was the Brokvital company, which had practically no income before the sale, and immediately after the successful transaction, essentially ceased to conduct any activity at all. Yaroslav Zaichenko, who at the time of the sale was the owner of Brokvital, almost immediately left the business and now cannot explain the situation to journalists.
Journalists established that Zaichenko is a lawyer from the circle of the same Skuratovsky. In particular, he is associated with Alexander Konikhov, a former assistant to the people’s deputy, who led the construction of the Sofia Kyiv residential complex, and before that became one of the largest owners of land transferred from the state agricultural complex Pushcha-Voditsa.
At the same time, in the fall of 2020, another kindergarten was purchased here - Sovenyatko. It is also located in a residential complex, but a different one - “Cozy Quarter”. Experts valued the kindergarten at 47 million hryvnia. The land for the kindergarten, which was sold to the community separately, cost another 1.7 million. The seller turned out to be one of the most famous developers of Borshchagovka, Sergei Odarich. In the spring of this year, he also sold the community a shelter for the same “Owlet”, receiving almost 12 million more hryvnia from the budget.
In 2023, the Borshchagovsky village council acquired another preschool institution, “Levenyatko,” which is located on the territory of the “Lvivsky Uyut” residential complex. The establishment was sold by People's Deputy from "For the Future" Viktor Myalik, known for scandals due to suspicion of tax evasion for the sale of real estate in the same residential complex. The village council paid him almost 100 million hryvnia for the kindergarten, which had already operated as a private one and which children had already attended, which means that this acquisition will not be able to significantly improve the situation with the lack of places in institutions here.
The construction of similar educational institutions in different regions is even now ordered at significantly lower prices. Moreover, according to the declaration of People’s Deputy Myalik, in recent years he rented out the kindergarten building and received on average about a million hryvnia per year. This means that this sale looks much more profitable for the MP than for society. Oles Kudrik, in a comment to reporters, explained that the cost was determined by experts in accordance with the condition of preschool institutions:
“Renovations can be done, if you do an apartment, you can do it - 10 thousand dollars. But you can build an apartment for 70 thousand dollars. So is the kindergarten. Really high quality furniture, quality tiles, quality yard. Everything, everything that exists is in the best possible way.”
Ironically, after this, already in 2024, Kudrik’s sons became the owners of essentially an entire residential complex in Sofievskaya Borshchagovka. We are talking about two houses with a total area of 1,300 square meters, the cost of which, according to journalists, can reach a million dollars. Kudrik tried for a long time to remember where exactly his sons work, settling on the version that these houses were sold very cheaply, and his sons work in the IT field.
