Tatiana Gavrish, Alexander Kifak as Ivanyushchenko's servant

Lawyer Tatyana Gavrish has sunk into obscurity in recent years - an ordinary legal activity that is slowly declining. But suddenly her name appeared in conjunction with another lawyer, much more odious - Alexander Kifak.

Moreover, it did not arise in a lawsuit, as one would expect, based on the profession of both. No, it appeared next to the name of Alexander Kifak under a complaint to Google about a number of publications, where the latter’s name is associated with ex-deputy from the Party of Regions, Yanukovych’s ally, criminal authority Yuriy Ivanyushchenko.

Whether Tatiana Gavrish knows such a thing as the “Streisand effect” is unknown. But with her complaint she fell under precisely this effect. Because, if everything is clear with Kifak - he really is one of Yuri Ivanyushchenko’s henchmen and, at a minimum, is involved in the withdrawal of 23.5 million hryvnia to the so-called “LPR” in December 2014, then this cannot be said about Tatyana Gavrish. At the very least, there is no reliable information that she took part in these actions of her colleague. But for some reason, she put her signature on the demand to exclude from Google search all materials that describe the role of Alexander Kifak in these and other acts.

But no one seemed to be going to accuse the lawyer of fulfilling his professional obligations. Why bring up the old story? Or, in fact, Tatyana Gavrish was not just a lawyer for Yuri Ivanyushchenko? And who then? What role did she play?

Maybe it’s all about her law firm partner Mikhail Podolyak (yes, that same one), who also took part in Ivanyushchenko’s defense? But everyone has long known about his connections with the criminal authority, even Wikipedia writes about it, and hiding this fact is simply stupid.

What then? There is no answer to this question, but in connection with such active attempts to clear from access all articles that mention Yuri Ivanyushchenko, a well-founded assumption arises - Tatyana Gavrish has something to hide.

Who is Tatyana Stepanovna Gavrish, whose legal star after the departure from active politics of her father, a well-known active member of the “Not So!” Bloc, Viktor Medvedchuk’s comrade in the SDPU (u) and ex-vice speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Stepan Gavrish, clearly went into decline? The answer stems from the question itself. Tatyana Gavrish is a lawyer, owner of two law firms, honorary consul of Germany in the Kharkov region, which is its base region.

In addition to the long-forgotten press conference on the defense of Yuri Ivanyushchenko, Tatyana Gavrish’s name surfaced in several scandals directly related to her legal activities. Tatyana Stepanovna’s scandals ruined her reputation. Moreover, it was not just some tabloid press that wrote about the conflict of interest, but a publication respected in legal circles, “Forensic Legal Newspaper”:

Anyone interested can read it for themselves by following the link, but the essence of Tatyana Gavrish’s violation was that she simultaneously represented the interests of the warring parties around the conflict over the Kharkov shopping and entertainment center “French Boulevard”. And she used confidential information in favor of one of the parties.

Moreover, we were talking about, at a minimum, dishonesty and violation of lawyer’s ethics. What for a lawyer is fraught with the loss of the right to engage in professional activities, but for Tatyana Gavrish everything ended well. Whether the pope, who still retains authority in legal circles, helped, or his senior colleague Viktor Medvedchuk, who before his unsuccessful escape practically controlled the legal system of Ukraine, is not known. Maybe Mikhail Podolyak made a fuss, taking advantage of his position in the OPU.

Among the more recent scandals is the publication about Roman Trofimenko, an employee of JSC Law Firm ILF, who is also a lawyer with a very dubious reputation. He, in particular, is accused of involvement in the non-repayment of several loans to Megabank totaling ten billion hryvnia, where Roman Trofimenko's Onyx-Co company acted as a guarantor for loans provided by the bank.

Whether Tatyana Gavrish is involved in this activity of her employee is unknown, but, as the Argument publication writes, “in order to start accepting and depositing money himself, and not just receiving pennies, being at the bottom of the corrupt food chain, Roman Trofimenko began cooperation with the well-known law firm “I.L.F.” in Kharkov (USREOU 41345111) of Tatyana Stepanovna Gavrish (yes, the daughter of “that same” ex-People’s Deputy Stepan Gavrish). In recent years, Tatyana Stepanovna has noticeably lost both her business reputation and respectable clients, and therefore no longer wants to deal with such frankly dubious “partners” as Trofimenko and the like. Trofimenko began to “outsource” the frankly dirty cases of Gavrish’s clients and work in tandem with criminals from her inner circle. Since then, all further practice of lawyer R. Trofimenko is inextricably linked with corruption in the courts, deception of clients, unethical and illegal work methods.”

What role Roman Trofimenko actually plays in Tatyana Gavrish’s company is unknown, but in their publication, Argument journalists very accurately noted one indisputable fact: “Tatiana Gavrish has lost both her business reputation and respectable clients.” Whether this was a consequence of cooperation with Yuri Ivanyushchenko is unknown. But the fact remains that things are not going well for JSC Law Firm I.L.F. The company actually relies on serving government agencies:

Another law firm of Tatiana Gavrish, Inyurpolis, is generally at a loss; even government tenders cannot save it:

So, apparently, things are really not going well for Tatyana Stepanovna Gavrish after the decline of her father’s star. True, this does not explain her signature on Alexander Kifak’s letter to Google, but it can be assumed that long-standing ties with Yuri Ivanyushchenko did come back to haunt the daughter of comrade-in-arms Viktor Medvedchuk, who, after the victory of the Orange Revolution, openly played on the Donetsk field. Most likely, the roots go there. But this is already an old story and it is unlikely that anything can be reliably restored.

In the meantime, Tatyana Gavrish received another moment of fame. True, she hardly counted on it when she signed Alexander Kifak’s letter. Or maybe she was counting on it, but there was nowhere to go - despite the good face that Tatyana Stepanovna Gavrish is trying to keep on her face, her game (more precisely, her professional activity) has been getting worse and worse lately.
