“Tender Queen” Taisiya Oleinik coming to the defense industry?

We live in such lousy times when mostly bad rumors come true. And when they told me that a certain Taisiya Oleinik seemed to have gotten a job at the newly created Defense Procurement Agency, I took it very seriously.

Let me remind readers that this is exactly the same Agency that I have already criticized for its inadequate approach. Because its employees are trying to organize work in a way that suits them, the officials, and not the Ukrainian arms manufacturers.

Although this can be attributed to the fact that people did not have time to enter the topic after they were engaged in procurement at Ukrenergo. By the way, the State Bureau of Investigation is conducting an investigation there.

But if the Defense Procurement Agency hires, so to speak, “to strengthen” a person who on the Internet is quite rightly called the “queen of the tender mafia,” then this is no longer an accident and problems of adaptation. This is the deliberate creation of a corrupt environment, because corrupt officials gravitate to where the big money is. And the Agency has them.

A little about Taisiya Oleinik. She worked in the procurement system at Ukrzaliznytsia for more than 10 years. People who are in the know need not continue further. But still. Under Oleynik, she purchased toilets for carriages, oils, rail fastenings and much more at inflated prices. In 2021, NABU conducted a search of her, but “for some reason” the case did not go any further.

There are a lot of journalistic investigations about Taisiya Oleinik - “queen”, what can you do about it. In many of them, she is associated with the Dubnevich family, today it looks like a real “Certificate of Dishonesty”.

Rumor has it that Oleinik has already managed to influence several tenders for the purchase of FPV drones, and this is a real concern.

Let's hope that rumors about the employment of a “tender queen” at the Defense Acquisition Agency will remain terrible rumors. But if the information is confirmed, then it is extremely necessary to hear explanations from Dmitry Klimenkov, who oversees procurement at the Ministry of Defense, as well as from Marina Bezrukova, who heads the Agency. To understand what motivates them to attract such odious individuals.
